Meet Abigail!
Illustration of Abigail seated cross-legged. She has long, dark hair and a striped, colorful headband. She is wearing a shirt with small stars on it, pants with small polka dots on them, and simple shoes. She is doodling on multi-colored sticky notes that look as though suspended on an invisible wall with a pen. In her other hand, she holds a patterned pencil case. She is surrounded with other sticky notes, books including a Bible, and a paint can. She has a joyful expression, though also seems focused. She's surrounded by doodles of swirls, math signs, a dolphin, and stars.

9-year-old Abigail Brenner is always ready to make a game, create a story, or help out a friend. But however hard she tries, not everything always goes as planned!

Thankfully, throughout Abigail’s messes and mistakes, she gets to rely on Jesus. And as you read all about her, you’ll discover how you can do that too!

About the Author

Bethany McIlrath loves to get lost in a book and to help others discover their next read in her marketing role at The Good Book Company. When she’s not reading stories, she’s usually writing them or dreaming about them as she comes up with real-life creative adventures for friends, her husband, and a doorbell-like dog named Indy. Serving in children’s ministry is also one of her greatest joys.
